Kingston Technology invited us to help launch a series of portable computing products. Retro Nouveau created a twelve-page direct mail brochure targeting the traveling men and women Road Warriors.​

The Challenge

To show the capabilities of this new line of mobile portable products, we brainstormed various ideas around being able to conduct work efficiently when out of the office. One concept resonated above all: "King of the Road."

The Concept

The brochure revolves around the concept of an editorial writer journaling his experiences, in a Jack Kerouac prose, while traveling on the historic route 66 highway in a '59 caddy. With this mindset, we were able to create adventurous vignettes highlighting the power and convenience of these portable computing products.

Call-To-Action

By filling out a simple questionnaire attached to the brochure, the recipient received a limited offer King of the Road music CD showcasing classic songs from the road. The response rate was phenomenal and contributed to increased market awareness and customer brand loyalty.
